Cheese and Wine Pairing MasterclassIn addition to the English and Welsh Wine Fair there will be a paid for ticketed Masterclass Wine and Cheese pairing session led by Oz and Tom.  Please ensure you pre-book your tickets for this session tickets are available to book up until one week before the event; or until they are sold out.

Viti-Culture is a one day free to attend event that focus’ on technical developers, innovators, supplies and services directly or indirectly involved in Wine Production – from Soil to Cellar – and we are proud to provide a showcase for interested and prospective growers to come and speak to experts and find out more about any aspect of wine production.

Hosted by the centre of excellence for our industry, Plumpton College, visitors can also tour the state-of-the-art facilities on site which brings every aspect of research, teaching and production to life. Whether you have an already established vineyard and winery, are looking to plant, or want to invest in your own production facilities, numerous exhibitors from vineyard consultants to land agents, specialist machinery manufacturers and dealers, winery equipment suppliers, agronomists, brand and packaging specialists, and professional service providers, attend Viti-Culture to advise on every aspect of establishing and managing a vineyard, to producing, packaging and marketing the wines. Alongside all of this, there is always a full itinerary of high quality seminars throughout the day that visitors have come to expect.

We are delighted to host the UK Sabrage Tournament, organised and sponsored by Ferovinum.
The first tournament was held in 2021 and was an instant success. We are incredibly proud to be the home of the only UK competition!

These are unprecedented times, of that there is no doubt and it is as important as ever to maintain the communication throughout the industry.  The wine industry is one that looks at probability and severity when writing business plans and risk assessments and is pre-programmed to mitigate that risk. Plumpton is renowned for being the UK’s centre for excellence in wine; giving students vital access to first-class education, training and research. Students can benefit from excellent links with wine producers and distilleries, including visits to the world’s key marketplaces in wine.

Industry Training

Plumpton College also provides industry training for vineyards and wineries through their WineSkills extension programme. They have 10 hectares of vineyards producing 40,000 bottles of award-winning still and sparkling wines each year at Plumpton.
Plumpton College can also boast a purpose-built Plumpton Wine Centre which includes a commercial winery, research winery, laboratories and a sensory evaluation room.

WINESKILLS EXTENSION PROGRAMME
