I am Giz from Yara UK, welcome to the Yara seminar. Hi, I'd like to know more about how trace elements, or lack of them, affects wine quality. Could you supply more details.

Though a good example of the impact of using micro nutrients can be seen in the discussion on Calcium in viticulture.

Good morning Paula, I would also like to ask that you open the Yara Exhibitor site and click shop, it will take you to our library of information which I believe has a fascinating article referring to 'Improving Wine Grape Quality', the article lists the key nutrients macro and micro and their role in wine grape quality.

Good morning Paula,

We have produced a Wine Grape Plantmaster book available by request which gives abstracts of relevant research. If however you are after a document detailing specifically micro nutrients and their impact of the fermentation process and resulting wine characteristics? I might suggest you discuss this further with Plumpton College. Yara might be interested to lease with interested parties in this research but as yet we don't have such a document available. Yara France is working with the French wine ministry and may be able to help further, I will discuss this with Fabrice and get back to you by e-mail.
