WineGB continue their support for Viti-Culture
Wines of Great Britain (WineGB) is the national association for the English and Welsh wine industry. WineGB’s mission is to advance the multiple interests of all its members to establish Great Britain as one of the world’s great quality wine regions.
We are delighted that WineGB will once again be supporting Viti-Culture and look forward to welcoming them on 9th July.
Grape growing and winemaking in the UK has changed dramatically during this time; England and Wales now have over 2500 hectares under vine, with around 700 vineyards (not all commercial), and over 160 wineries producing world-class internationally award winning sparkling, white, rosé and red wines. In the last 16 years English sparkling wines have won no less than 15 International Trophies in global competitions.
The national body is dedicated to ensuring a sustainable future for the UK wine production industry by:
- Promoting, representing and supporting the interests of all sizes of vineyards and wine producers in England and Wales
- Providing a wide range of services and benefits for its members
- Being a clear and powerful voice for the industry ensuring the needs of members are heard at the highest level.
WineGB was formed on 1st September 2017 from the merger of the United Kingdom Vineyards Association (UKVA) and English Wine Producers (EWP). This merger brings the resources, skills and expertise of both organisations combined to form a single and effective industry body.
